Business developer

To strengthen our growth in network services and rehabilitation, we are looking for a business developer.

Main responsibilities :

Sales :

• - Carries out targeted prospecting in agreement with the Sales Director (SD)

• - Develops relationships with existing clients and builds their loyalty

• - Prepares commercial proposals.

• - Represents the company to the client during projects

• - Takes part in visits to his/her sites by prospects and clients

 

Studies (in liaison with the Operations Director (OD)):

• - Carries out site visits and surveys for feasibility studies

• - Draws up the list of requirements for the project (supplies, rentals, subcontracting, teams)

• - Prepares layout plans and schedules (in agreement with the OD) before pricing

• - Finalises pricing with the office and the SD

 

Project preparation :

• - Attends on-site preparation meetings

• - Prepares and sends the office the quantities for standard items on his/her projects (supplies, rental and subcontracting needs)

• - Sources suppliers and prices for non-standard equipment and supplies (purchase or rental)

 

Project delivery :

• - Monitors project progress daily with the team leaders and the OD

• - Adjusts project schedules daily as needed with the team leaders and the OD, and keeps the client informed.

• - Attends site meetings.

• - Checks that safety rules are followed by the team, subcontractors and other contractors (e.g. trench shoring)

Project financial monitoring :

• - Tracks on-site consumption with the team leaders (resin, pigs, couplings, foam swabs, fuel, rentals…)

• - Tracks work completed on site with the team leaders (did we do less or more than planned ?)

• - Prepares monthly progress statements and the proposed final invoice for his/her projects, in liaison with the SD.

Reporting :

• - Organises an end-of-project debrief with the OD and team leader

Equipment :

• - Reports equipment repair needs to the OD, in liaison with the team leaders.
